Why does We Talk Grass use Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal?

Because that is how lawn care customers already pay. Every invoice link shows the operator's payment buttons, and the money goes straight from the customer to the operator. We Talk Grass never touches it and takes $0. Zelle, cash, and check cost the operator nothing. Venmo and Cash App business accounts charge their own fees (Venmo's is 1.9% + $0.10), and PayPal charges its own fee on card payments. In-app card payments are coming with the We Talk Grass customer portal; standard processing fees will apply there.

Can I text invoices and updates to my customers with We Talk Grass?

Texting is an optional add-on, coming soon: $14.97/month for 400 text segments (a long text can count as 2; customer replies are free; unused segments don't roll over). There is a one-time $29 setup for the business's own carrier registration, refunded if it can't be approved. Approval usually takes 3–7 business days. When the segments run out, auto-refill adds 500 more for $15, so texting never stops mid-month. If a carrier rejects a registration because of wrong business details, resubmitting costs $15. We Talk Grass lets you import your contacts directly from a CSV file. Whether your customers are stored in your phone, Gmail, Outlook, Excel, or another CRM — you can export them and bring them in without retyping a single name.

From Google Contacts (Gmail): Go to contacts.google.com → click Export → choose Google CSV → click Export. Done.

From iPhone: Open Settings → Contacts → Accounts → Add Account → Google. Sign in and turn Contacts sync ON. Wait 1–2 minutes, then go to contacts.google.com on your computer, click Export, choose Google CSV, and click Export.

From Outlook: File → Open & Export → Import/Export → Export to a file → Comma Separated Values → select Contacts → save the file.

From Excel or Google Sheets: File → Save As (or Download) → choose CSV format.

Once you have your CSV, go to Customers → tap Import → select your file → preview your contacts → tap Import Contacts. They'll show up in your list instantly. Your CSV should include First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email, and Address for the best results — extra columns are ignored automatically.

Invite links are single-use for security reasons. Once a link is clicked, it expires automatically — even if the crew member didn't complete their setup.

To send a fresh invite: go to Settings → Team, delete the pending team member, and send a new invite to the same email address. The new link will work immediately.

If your crew member already set up their account successfully, they don't need the invite link anymore — they just need to go to app.wetalkgrass.com and sign in with the email and password they created.

Company refers to We Talk Grass LLC, 4310 Ryan St Ste 121, Lake Charles, LA 70605-4540. We Talk Grass is a Progressive Web Application (PWA) — a web-based app accessed through your browser and installable on your home screen. It is not distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

By accessing or using the Service You agree to be bound by these Terms. You represent that you are over the age of 18.

Subscriptions

Subscription period: The Service is available with a paid Subscription billed on a recurring monthly basis. At the end of each period, Your Subscription will automatically renew under the same conditions unless You cancel.

Cancellation: You may cancel Your Subscription renewal through Your Account settings page or by contacting Us. You will not receive a refund for the current Subscription period and will retain access until the end of that period.

Billing: You shall provide accurate and complete billing information including a valid payment method.

Fee Changes: We may modify Subscription fees at Our sole discretion. Any fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Subscription period with reasonable prior notice.

Refunds: Except when required by law, paid Subscription fees are non-refundable. Certain refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at Our sole discretion.
